COVID-19: AWARENESS AND PREVENTION

The recent spread of the Coronavirus has gripped the entire international community and caused many public health problems. Despite global efforts to contain the spread of the disease, the epidemic is still on the rise.

To comply with state regulations and to protect our patients and our staff, due to the coronavirus health crisis, our clinic has decided to close its doors and this to reduce the spread of the virus as well. The duration of the shutdown is currently unknown and will be extended as necessary for this protective coup to be fully operational so that healthcare facilities can be protected.

The Pasteur Institute indicated that the symptoms of the Coronavirus set in gradually over several days unlike the flu which sets in suddenly. The first symptoms often observed are: cold, headache, muscle aches, muscle pain, fatigue, sometimes also fever, cough accompanied by a slight conjunctivitis.

How to protect yourself against the coronavirus?

• They’re people with respiratory illness should be self-contained.

• Prevent the transmission of respiratory infections in public facilities by observing the infection control measures imposed by the authorities.

• Wear a disposable surgical mask and use tissues if you cough or sneeze.
• Sick people must wear a surgical mask outside.

• The importance of practicing hand hygiene (for example, washing hands with antimicrobial soap and water, alcohol-based hand sanitizer, or antiseptic hand washing).

• Adopt routine cleaning and disinfection strategies to protect your environment.

We are aware that there are very serious dental problems that require urgent treatment, including :

• Acute toothache
• Infection and abscess.
• Pain due to broken teeth.
